I offer bespoke clothing design and expert tailoring for people who want more than off-the-rack solutions. Whether I am reimagining a beloved garment or creating something entirely new, my goal is always the same: to create clothing that allows you to live and present yourself authentically.

Studio Friel is owned and operated by Tara Friel, a graduate of Canada's only haute couture fashion school, the Richard Robinson Academy of Fashion Design. Tara is a professional tailor and seamstress with an eye for detail. Precision is the name of the game for Studio Friel.
At Studio Friel, sustainibility is our number one priority. Our environment is precious, and we do our best to take care of it. We practice this in every facet of our business by creating new styles from secondhand and reclaimed materials, altering garments that already exist to suit you and your body perfectly, and using secondhand paper materials to create one-of-a-kind collaged postcards and zines.
